The Board of Directors of Southside Family Charter School is charged with providing oversight of the school's programs, finances, and legal compliance while guiding the school towards its mission and vision.

Membership

The board of directors is comprised of up to 13 members, the majority of whom are parents of currently enrolled students. Members are elected for a term of two years at the Annual Meeting each September, and can serve up to four consecutive years. Directors are classified as either Parent Members (family of a student currently enrolled at the school), At-Large Members (interested community members and supporters) or a Teacher Member (appointed by the staff of the school).

Meetings
The board meets monthly October-August, except July, with the Annual Meeting in September serving as that month's board meeting. All meetings are open, subject to MN Open Meeting Law.
