At Southside Family Charter School, we believe that education plays a crucial role in our communities' capacities to dream new worlds where all people experience dignity, joy, liberation and belonging.  We believe our young people have the imagination and creativity to contribute to radical change in our communities. Do you believe that education should be liberatory, transformational and restorative ? Do you believe that issues of social justice can be taught and contextualized to students no matter the grade level?  Southside Family Charter School has been partnering with students, families, and communities around these very beliefs for 50 years.  We are in a very exciting time of rebirth and regeneration in our community, dreaming toward the next 50 years, and we are looking for value aligned educators that want to contribute to our evolution.

To be considered please submit your resume along with a statement/answer to the two questions below: 

• As an educator committed to social justice, what values and commitments shape your practice?
• Secondarily, please provide a clear example of a time where you and your students experienced living these values together.
