The Board of Directors of Southside Family Charter School is charged with overseeing the school's programs, finances, and legal compliance while guiding the school toward its mission and vision.
Membership
The 2024-25 board of directors is comprised of seven members: four parents, two teachers, and one community member. Members are elected for a term of two years at the Annual Meeting each September and can serve up to four consecutive years. Directors are classified as either Parent Members (the family of a student currently enrolled at the school), Community Members, or Teacher Members.
Meetings
The board meets monthly from September to August, except July, with an Annual Meeting in September. All meetings are scheduled every fourth Saturday in person at SouthSide Family School in Hospitality Hall. They are open and subject to the MN Open Meeting Law. Everyone is welcome to attend.
